10 Signs That You Aren’t Lazy, You’re a Genius



We’re all quick to critique ourselves and other. When we’re actually realistic and correct about our self-judgement, it can be accepted. However, it’s a whole different dilemma whenever we judge ourselves and others falsely.
Lazy… Genius… Do any of these words describe you? If so, you might want to take a minute to read on. There’s a very fine line between lazy and genius and we’re here to draw that line!
1: Talking to yourself: Talking to yourself helps you concentrate and be more organized as collect your thoughts.

2: Having Few Friends: Social expectations can actually bring about stress. The less interaction, the less anxiety and more of an improvement towards yourself and your well being.


3: Seeming stagnant: Note how it says “seeming” because while it may appear that you are doing nothing, your mind is actually working very hard and you are too consumed with your thoughts to physically do anything.


4: Taking your time: Here’s a battle of quality versus quantity. While multitasking is praised, those who taking their time doing one thing at a time have a much higher rate of accuracy.


5: Messiness: While messiness may seem like chaos and lack of order, it is not always that way. The lack of organizational tradition allows for discovering unconventional means of getting around accomplishing things.



6: Doodling: It may be an absentminded task that you resort to when there’s a pen and piece of paper in front of you, but that subconscious application can help you discover new ideas and concepts you didn’t even think you’d come up with.


7: Nonchalant; While this appears to be a careless trait, the calmness and serenity that comes with it can actually be helpful in the end.

8: Delegate tasks to others: It may just be a way of getting away with not doing anything but sometimes it can be a matter of having team spirit! After all, teamwork makes the dream work!



9: Efficiency: When you really don’t have the energy or effort to do something, you’re going to find the fastest way to go about it. To some it appears as cheating, to others its being efficient!


10: Our brains are working throughout the entire day and they get tired. What better way to get that noggin working again than a nice power nap!


With the technology based world we live in today, it’s easy to get carried away with doing nothing, or appearing that way. Almost everything can be done through the simple touch of our fingers.

Actual physical work has become completely separated than work itself. Whether you’re programming, designing, writing a paper or… writing an article (like me), you;re getting your work done without any physical work. And while it may appear like we’re lazy, we’re actually not, so give yourself a pay on the back!
